Kelly Rhoades has been choreographing for the award-winning Gulf Coast High School dance team for the past 12 years and was one of the team’s founding alumni members. Kelly graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s in Business Management while dancing and choreographing professionally. Following UCF, Kelly graduated valedictorian from Full Sail University with a Master’s in Business. Currently Kelly is focused on her career in the non-profit sector and fundraising. She is the Guest Services, Volunteer & Intern Services Manager for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida and oversees over 600 volunteers.
Kelly Rhoades has choreographed for FGCU’s Dancing Divas, NBA halftime shows for the Orlando Magic Minis, the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center in Tampa, the Hardrock Café, and for various musical theatre groups. Kelly has been active in the Naples community choreographing for three Collier County high school’s auxiliary programs. In 2003 Kelly performed for Sr. President Bush and Governor Jeb Bush for the Inauguration ceremony in Tallahassee, Fl. Additional performance credits include a dancer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line and character work for Universal Studios.
Under the direction of Kelly Rhoades, Gulf Coast’s dance team has won consistent superior ratings, numerous awards, and has been requested to perform throughout the community. GCHS dancers have performed for ‘Holiday Pops’ at Artis-Naples, Macy’s department store, Nordstrom’s, and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida in addition to the marching band’s resume.
